International Educator

As a Third Culture Kid and former international student, I understand the benefits of attending a global school. It allowed me to unite and lead diverse teams when beginning working for companies. Transitioning to the education sector, I have found my calling. I am a life-long learner that is motivated to improve, grow, and strengthen my community. I aim to implement my school’s mission and vision in aspects of the lives in school’s stakeholders including students, teachers, administrators, and families.

21st Century Learning

I believe 21st education and technology should support learners becoming independent and collaborative digital citizens that apply their learning authentically and appropriately to improve knowledge, communication, and creativity.

Role of Technology in Education

Technology is an essential tool and skill for students and teachers. I aim to use technology to foster learning, build digital citizenship, enhance communication, facilitate collaboration, and promote international-mindedness. This is achieved through competent leadership, meaningful role-modeling, and strategic planning with stakeholders.

About Me

Motivated EducatorAn energetic and enthusiastic professional educator that problem-solves and collaborates to create a motivating learning environment that promotes independence, inquiry, and life-long learning. Through my experience, I can efficiently create and utilize resources, digital and tangible, to create a holistic education experience that ensures all students achieve success.

A proven leader with a strong passion for education coupled with exceptional knowledge of handling functions to ensure a safe environment conducive to learning and growth. A cross-functional communicator who easily interfaces with high-profile leadership, internal and external technology team, vendors, student/teachers, and family members.

A technology enthusiast with proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with faculty throughout the school to provide pedagogical and technical consulting to design, develop, and implement authentic and meaningful instructional content, courses, and projects that enrich teaching and learning through the use of technology in online, hybrid and traditional courses, including the integration of student learning outcomes. Possessing a proven ability in ensuring efficient problem solving without losing sight of factors such as budget, timelines, and the school’s mission.

As a Third Culture Kid that attended international schools, I understand the unique advantages of attending an international education. I create learning environments that are student-centered and promotes inquiry. Students feel safe, curious, and apart of a community of learners. I strive to make learning fun, authentic, and hands-on. I believe in differentiated learning and promoting multiple intelligence to help all students reach their full potential.

My mission is to create a school community that prepares students for a future that will be dynamic and shifting. To achieve this, teachers must receive support and direction. I believe effective leadership happens by leading from the front.

I believe it is essential for educational leaders to develop a successful and motivated community. We must transfer stakeholders from dependence to independence and then finally interdependence. This synergy requires valuing differences-to respect them, building on strengths, and compensating for weaknesses. I believe the sum is always greater than all of its parts. It is my goal to motivate all individuals to go beyond what they believe is possible each and every day.

Technology Vision

My mission with technology is to prepare students for a future that will be dynamic and shifting. To achieve this, pupils must be resilient learners and motivated to take ownership of their learning. Schooling is no longer a static practice, and students should not be expected to recite facts. We are already swimming in a sea of ambiguous information, and the rate at which data is updated will only increase. Students must know how to find reputable sources of information and then apply it to engage in deep learning so they can construct knowledge and understand the world around them.
